Belize “The Jewel”

Give your customers the treat they deserve and book a reef and rainforest trip so they experience all the majesty and natural beauty Belize has to offer.

From soaring through the rainforest on a zip line, gently kayaking down a river teeming with rainforest wildlife, exploring majestic Maya ruins, snorkelling over pristine reefs in warm turqouise ocean, your customers will be lapping up the rich culture and natural beauty this small country has to offer.

As a tease here are some of our favourite things for tourists to do while visiting us.

Adventurous Caving - Aktun Tunichil Muknal (ATM cave)

Voted number one cave experience in all of Central America by National Geogrpahic Adventurer magazine, this thrilling day lives up to all the hype. A cave which surprises with shards of pottery, human skull and a full skeleton all remnants of centuries old sacrifices made during a conflict between two Maya cities in an attempt to appease the Maya gods. Underground rivers, rushing water and led by specialist guides who explain in detail the history of the cave and the Maya culture.

Stunning Snorkelling - Hol Chan Marine Park and Shark Ray Alley

It is all in a name as they say – visitors are blown away by the chance to snorkel safely among nurse sharks and southern rays in calm, crystal clear water with these magnificent creatures. This experience has not been created for tourists, but exists as a result of fishermen cleaning their fish in the channel for more than a hundred years, before bringing them ashore to sell.

Blue Hole – Part of the Great Barrier Reef of Belize

One of the top natural wonders of the world, a mesmerising circular blue hole on one of Belizes’ three atolls, 1000 feet 300 metres across and 400 feet , 125 metres deep and visible from space! If you are not a diver or snorkeller, we suggest a sightseeing flight to enjoy it and take many stunning photographs. Belize has the second longest barrier reef in the world after Australia and 3 of only 4 atolls in the western hemisphere.

Lamanai - Archaelogical Reserve

Lamanai means ‘Sumberged Crocodile’ in the mayan language and is a pre Columbain name. The site is a very well-preserved example of these intricate and detailed civilisations with palaces, ceremonial sites and housing. The site is thought to have been occupied from 16 th century BC to the 17 th century AD unlike most other Maya sites which ceased to function around 10 th century. The site is known for the Mask Temple, Jaguar Temple and High Temple as well as the lush rainforest and residents of the forest and the thrilling 45 minute high speed boat journey along the new river to the new river lagoon where the site is located.

Cave tubing and zip lining adventure at Nocho’een

Imagine the thrill of flying through the Rainforest canopy and then relaxing in an oversized innertube down a gently flowing river through ancient caves. This is one of the most asked for experiences in the country and guides explain about the surroundings and safely guide those taking part through several cave systems. A tasty local lunch awaits following this memorable experience.

These are just a few of many amazing tour options and certainly something to suit each type of traveller whether it be heart racing excursions or gentle ambles with nature, discovery and culture – we have it covered!
